The Quest Solo - A Proud Collaboration

We have teamed up with the team at Oz Inflatable Kayaks to create a unique range of inflatable kayaks aimed at ticking all of the boxes. These puppies have been designed from the ground up with over 10 years of customer feedback in the inflatable kayak space so they are packed with features, comfort, and on-the-water performance.

Lightweight, Manage It By Yourself!

Lets face it, hardshell tandem inflatable kayaks are heavy. They require serious strength to get them on the roof or just to get them down to the water, but the Quest Solo Inflatable Kayak weighs in at an impressive 12.2kg including seats, footpegs, and deck lifts! This makes it light enough to manage and move by yourself without the need to lift high up onto roof racks. Simply throw it in the boot or on the back seat and head down to the water!

Drop Stitch Keel Tracks Beautifully In The Water!

Many kayaks on the market have huge "rocker" (curved bases) causing them to waggle with every stroke even more so in the wind unless you install multiple fins. The Quest Solo features a unique high-pressure drop-stitch keel on the bow and stern that dives below the water line. The rigid keels stay locked in the water, meaning that the kayak isn't affected by wind and chop like others on the market. It tracks straight with absolutely minimal waggle—no fin required though it is included, we mostly added the fin box for use with a fin box motor (mentioned below).

High-Pressure Drop-Stitch Floor for Hard-Shell Rigidity

The core of the Quest Solo's exceptional stability and performance is its 10 PSI drop-stitch floor. Utilising the same high-pressure technology found in stand-up paddleboards, thousands of interlocking stitches allow the floor to become completely rigid. There is zero sagging or bending under weight, giving it the solid feel of a hardshell kayak on the water but with all of the flexibility of not needing roof racks and packing into a convenient wheelie bag that you can wheel to your setup location. It is so stable you can easily flop in and out of it, making it the perfect choice for beginners worried about getting in or anyone who values a kayak with rock-solid stability.

Spacious Cockpit and Serious Comfort for All-Day Adventures

True comfort turns a quick paddle into an all-day adventure. The Quest Solo features a premium, high-backed seat with extra-thick stiffeners built in to deliver maximum lumbar and mid-back support (lots of thought went into this). The D-rings are placed intentionally high on the inner tubes to pull the seat forward rather than down, giving you vastly superior bracing. As well as the high-back Rubix seat, the Quest Solo also comes with a set of adjustable footbraces allowing you to get your position just right bracing your lower back and achieve a highly efficient paddle stroke motion.

Stay Dry with Upgraded Bow and Stern Deck Lifts

Getting splashed by small waves breaking over the kayak is a fast way to ruin a day on the water. To solve this, the Quest Solo comes equipped with integrated deck lifts on both the bow and the stern which acts as a shield. Whether you are cutting through chop or pulled up on a beach where small waves break over the back, these lifts redirect water away from the cockpit to keep you and your gear dry as much as possible.

Setup in Under 10 Minutes and Propeller Ready

You can set the Quest Solo very quickly in under 10 mins. From the car to the water is quick and painless using the high capacity double action hand pump provided. It features three separate inflation chambers that all use the exact same valve style, meaning no annoying adapter swaps mid-setup. Pump the drop-stitch floor to 10 PSI, inflate the ultra-tough PVC Tarpaulin side tubes to 5 psi, slide in your adjustable footpegs, and clip in your seats. While the kayak tracks flawlessly under paddle power without a fin, the pre-installed fin box is perfectly compatible with almost any standard sup-fin box propeller motor on the market, we recommend the ASIWO U1 for an extra injection of high-speed fun!

Built to Last: Heavy Duty PVC Tarpaulin

The side tubes are engineered using premium 3 layer PVC Tarpaulin—a high-grade material consisting of a woven polyester layer sandwiched between two thick layers of PVC. Unlike standard PVC, this fabric will not stretch or sag. Additionally, the bottom features heavy-duty reinforcement rubber bumpers on the front and rear so you can drag the kayak up onto sandy beaches with total peace of mind.
