The Inflatable Boat/Kayak D-Ring Kit from Jaspara lets you add 4 extra D-rings anywhere on your inflatable kayak, SUP or inflatable boat. In the pack you get four standard 80mm D-rings and a 30ml tube of PVC glue, so everything you need to do the job is in the one pack.

Why Add Extra D-Rings to Your Kayak?

Most inflatables come with a handful of D-rings scattered around the boat/SUP, and they're never quite where you want them. Adding your own means you can customise the layout to suit how you actually paddle. Strap down a cooler or crate behind the seat, run an extra bungee across the bow for your dry bag, add a spot for a paddle leash or rod leash, or set up a point to tie off your anchor. If you've ever had gear sliding around the floor every time you turn, this is just the ticket.

Strong Enough for Real Gear

These are standard-sized 80mm D-rings, rated for strapping down items under 100kg. That covers the stuff most of us carry: tackle crates, eskies, camping gear, dry bags and the kids' gear for a day at the beach. Every ring in the Inflatable Boat/Kayak D-Ring Kit is a tie-down point, not a lifting or towing point, so don't use them to haul the boat around or tow anything heavy.

Easy to Fit at Home

No special tools and no bodybuilder muscles required. Inflate the boat so the surface is firm, mark where you want each ring, clean both surfaces so they're free of dirt, salt and sunscreen, then apply the PVC glue to the patch and the hull following the instructions on the tube. Press firmly, smooth out any air bubbles and give it time to fully cure before you load it up. Do one ring at a time and take your time with placement, because once they're glued they're there to stay.

Which Boats Is This Inflatable Boat/Kayak D-Ring Kit Suited To?

The kit comes with PVC glue, so it's made for PVC inflatables. That includes most inflatable kayaks, inflatable SUPs and PVC inflatable boats, including the Jaspara and Advanced Elements kayaks we stock.
