Setup is a breeze with the Expedition Elite and you can expect a setup time of around 8 minutes which is slightly higher than its sister kayak, the AdvancedFrame Elite courtesy of a few extra items such as a footbrace, a deck riser bar and 2 extra deck risers. The extra items involved in the setup are part of the kayaks amazing ability to carry a large amount of gear. The AdvancedFrame Expedition Elite has a huge weight capacity of 208kgs and an open water rating. Like all inflatables, setup time will reduce with each setup you do and you can expect to be under a 8 minute setup using the double action hand pump (which is provided).

Exceptional Performance & Stability
The Expedition Elite is part of the AdvancedFrame family which means that it has a patented aluminium rib frame design. The aluminium ribs are installed behind the hull in the front and the rear as part of the kayak. They create a "chisel" on the bow and stern allowing water to peel away, and the kayak to cut through water when paddling.
In addition to the ribs, the Expedition Elite has a rigid (and removable) drop stitch floor which uses the same technology as stand-up paddle boards. When inflated, the floor and rib frames provide a rigid kayak that boasts exceptional stability, straight tracking and a performance similar to that of a hard shell even when tackling windy and choppy conditions. A great choice for beginners and experienced paddlers alike.
